What is Budz?

Strain: the name of the plant variety. It tells you which aroma to look for.
Terpenes: the aroma compounds behind the scent of each strain.
Bud size: how big each bud is. Full-size buds are larger. Popcorn buds are smaller.
Grams (g): the weight of the pack. A gram is a very small unit of weight, so pack sizes here run from 2g to 10g.
Mylar: a thin, tough film used for packs. Our Budz pouches are made of mylar and are smell-proof.
Indoor, greenhouse, outdoor: words some shops use for the place where the plant grew. The next part explains them.
Indoor, greenhouse and outdoor CBD flower
These three words describe where a plant grows. Indoor CBD flower grows under artificial light, with control of air, temperature and humidity. Shops often say indoor flower looks tight and stays consistent from batch to batch. It usually costs more to produce.
Greenhouse flower grows under glass or another cover. It uses mostly sunlight, with some control of heat, air and water. Many shops see it as a middle choice. Outdoor flower grows in open air with sun and weather. It costs less to produce, but the harvest is seasonal and the buds can vary more.

Popcorn buds and standard buds
Popcorn buds are smaller buds. In the wider market, the name usually refers to size only. Some shops set a limit, for example buds under 1.5 cm. Many sell them in packs of 10g or more.
Size is the main difference. Standard buds are larger and look fuller. Popcorn buds are smaller and often look looser. Both can come from the same strain, so the aroma notes still apply. Our Popcorn Budz follow this idea: smaller buds, a 3.5g pot and a lower price than Budz.
Pouch or jar
Packaging varies a lot. Pouches, vacuum-sealed bags and jars are all in use. A pouch is light and flat, and it keeps smell inside when it is sealed. A jar is rigid and reusable, and it lets you see the flower. Clear glass lets light through, so a jar needs a dark place and a lid that seals well.

Strawberry brings ripe strawberry with a light pepper edge. Bubblegum is the sweetest of the ten, with fruity and floral notes.
Earthy, woody and herbal
Cannatonic pairs woody earth with warm herbs and a sour lemon edge. Skywalker has fuel, pine and herbs. White Widow is peppery wood, pine and a light floral touch. Predator is old-style earth and dry wood, with spice and a hint of fuel.
Savoury and creamy
Kiss has creamy aged cheese, ripe grape and soft herbs. In Popcorn Budz, Blue Cheese pairs sweet blueberry with a creamy cheese base.
