Budz is our main range of CBD buds: ten strains of full-size hemp flower, each in four sizes from a 2g taster to a 10g pouch, all in smell-proof mylar. CBD buds from the Budz range

Budz is the flagship of Professor Herb flower. Every strain comes as full-size buds of CBD (cannabidiol) hemp flower in 2g, 3.5g, 5g or 10g, sealed in a smell-proof mylar pouch that holds the aroma in until you open it. The Budz strains

Citrus: lemon, lime and orange

Amnesia, similar in profile to the classic Amnesia Haze, opens with sharp lemon zest, then settles into an earthy haze with incense and cedar underneath. Cali is the lime one: in the style of California Orange, the 1970s Cali-O classic, it opens on sharp, sour lime, and a sweet mandarin note follows. Orange Bud is all ripe orange and nectarine over a soft, classic skunk base, a Dutch heritage profile that has kept its fans for decades.

Fruit and sweetness

Strawberry is inspired by the much-loved Strawberry Cough: fresh, ripe strawberry with sweet berry and a peppery edge. Bubblegum is the sweetest nose in the line-up, a classic bubblegum aroma with fruity, creamy and floral notes.

Earthy, woody and herbal

Cannatonic takes its name from the Spanish-bred classic famous for being high in CBD, and its aroma is woody earth, spicy herbs and sour lemon. Skywalker is similar in profile to Skywalker OG: earthy fuel, pine and spicy herbs, with a faint blueberry sweetness underneath. White Widow, the Dutch original from 1994, pairs peppery wood with pine and a light floral note. Predator brings old-school kush instead: hash-like earth and dry wood, then spice and a gassy edge.

Savoury and creamy

Kiss is named after the Spanish-bred Kiss and lives up to the saying behind it, "grapes and cheese taste like a kiss": creamy aged cheese, ripe grape and flowery herbs.

Four sizes, one smell-proof pouch

The 2g is a taster, an easy way to meet an aroma before you settle on it. The 3.5g and 5g sit in the middle. The 10g is our biggest pack, made to last, and it gives you time to get to know a strain properly instead of reordering small packs.

The mylar pouch is smell-proof, so the aroma stays inside the pouch and out of the room. Keep it sealed, cool and dark between openings, and the terpenes (the aromatic compounds behind every scent in this range) stay bright for longer.

Popcorn Budz are smaller buds in a 3.5g smell-proof pot, across six different strains and at a lower price. Both offer 3.5g, so weight isn't the difference. Budz is the main range; Popcorn Budz is the easy way in.

Which Budz strain has the most citrus aroma?

Amnesia, Cali and Orange Bud, and each one owns a different fruit. Amnesia is lemon, with sharp zest over an earthy haze and a trace of incense. Cali is lime: sour and tart, with a sweet mandarin note behind it. Orange Bud is the sweetest and juiciest, closer to ripe orange and nectarine over a soft skunk base.

Which Budz strain is the sweetest?

Bubblegum is the sweetest nose in the range, with a nostalgic bubblegum aroma, floral perfume and a hint of berry. Strawberry comes a close second, with ripe, jammy strawberry and red berries. If you prefer earthy over sweet, go for Cannatonic or Skywalker instead.

What makes Cannatonic different?

Cannatonic takes its name from one of the best-known strains bred to be rich in CBD, rather than a classic strain later crossed for CBD. Its aroma is quieter and more grounded than the fruit-led strains: earthy and woody, with spicy herbs and a sour lemon edge.

How should I store CBD buds?

Keep the pouch sealed and store it somewhere cool, dark and dry, away from direct sunlight and heat. Light, warmth and air are what fade terpenes, so a sealed smell-proof pouch in a cupboard is ideal. As with all our flower, keep it out of reach of children and pets.
