California Orange heritage
California Orange, also known as Cali-O, was found in California in the 1970s and taken to Amsterdam, where Dutch Passion has inbred it since 1980 as Californian Orange. Its parents were never recorded. The breeder describes its smell as a bit sour, with citrus and lime-dominant notes, and that sour, lime-led side of the classic is the one our Cali leans into.
